About Me

I'm just a guy who loves Subarus.  I own a 2016 WRX STI and a 1999 Impreza 2.5 RS Coupe.  I also work at a local Subaru Dealership and organize events with the Nebraska Subaru Owners Club.

Most of my family and friends now have Subarus as well, so it's pretty much an AWD party whenever we get together.  I love these cars and I love people who own them, too!

    1. The name is a coincidence. Never done a SVX conversion... or worked on a SVX before anyways.

  3. Why doesnt Subaru add a 12 inches to the wheelbase and length of the Forester. That would be a winner. A Forester owner

    1. Adding a foot to the Forester would make it longer than the Outback. It would also bump the Forester out of the ranks of the Rav4, CR-V, Escape, Rogue, and other popular crossover vehicles that it competes with. With the new 7-passenger coming soon from Subaru, it sounds like the solution would be to switch to that model instead of the current size of the Forester.

    2. Thanks. Didn't know about the 7 Pass. Is there any info on it? Dave

    3. There isn't much on the new 7 Passenger yet. We don't even know it's name! When we do get more info, I'll have it posted on my blog. Subaru made a 7-passenger vehicle before called the Tribeca but they stopped making those in 2014. It's still bigger than your Forester and taller than an Outback, but they're tough to find.
